Upon arrival into Cuscowilla you will immediately be captured by our unhurried pace, our beautiful natural setting and the rich sense of community you will experience. A leisurely tour of Cuscowilla will reveal our unique blend of quiet elegance and comfortable lifestyle. The resort has a wide variety of accommodation options, with wonderful architecturally designed Mediterranean style Lodge Villas, along with cedar Golf Cottages and Lake Villas, which are spacious, built of fine pine, cedar shake roofs and hand-hewn granite and luxuriously appointed with top-of-line kitchens, granite fireplaces and outdoor chimneys. The private residences are located in secluded areas of our 700 acre development, often behind automatic gates away from the resort side of the development, but always just minutes away.

We were established back in 1997 and designed to preserve the legendary serenity of the area's Seed Orchard. We are situated on 700 acres of pristine countryside along over 7 miles of waterfront, lovingly landscaped to respect its native wild grasses, old trees and lakeshore vistas. At the heart of this special community is The Golf Club at Cuscowilla, with its highly acclaimed eighteen-hole championship golf course and unique Frank Lloyd Wright inspired Golf House complete with oak barreled ceilings and veranda patios stretching around the 14th green. Winding through the rolling green meadows and along the shoreline of Georgia's second largest lake, this 6,847-yard, par 70 classic lay-of-the-land course features Bent grass greens and Bermuda-grass fairways for challenging play, and the most dramatic bunking in America with their red-clay and white sand centers and "scruffy" bunkering edges.
